We’re committed community members in the City of Mesa who appreciate one of Mesa’s finest resources – our public library system, the main library and its two branches.
Your Mesa libraries are open to you and to everyone, free of charge. The library is not only a source of information and inspiration but is also an everyday destination for children, students, teachers, families, seniors, readers and music and video lovers of every kind.
As the City of Mesa Library continues to face budget constraints your participation in FCML is critical. Currently the library faces budget cuts of $3.3 million for Fiscal Year 09/10. These cuts will impact staffing, library programs, book and subscription purchases, technology upgrades and ultimately will cut hours of operation reducing access for those who depend on the library.
